The Clark Wedding

Tamara and Andy were married on May 10th, 2019 at Maidu Park in Roseville. It was an outside ceremony in a cute outside courtyard, followed by a reception in the main hall. I had SO much fun getting ready with her and her girlfriends (aka bridesmaids) and wanted to share some of the photos I took on her special day.

Andrew + Tamara Engagement Session

I’ve had the privilege to know Tamara for six years now. She is an amazing woman and a wonderful mom. Her fiancé, Andy, is the perfect match for her! He is funny, sincere, and I can truly see how much he loves her.

You better believe I was SO excited to not only be able to photograph their engagement session, but the two lovebirds asked me to be their photographer on their wedding as well! (Stay tuned for those photos in May). I was so giddy with excitement when she asked!

Below are just some of my very favorites from their engagement session and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed being behind the camera.

ITUS Defense

My friend David Jackson owns an awesome up-and-coming company that teaches gun safety as well as tactical training in and out of your home. It was super fun to go out to the range with him to shadow one of his classes, and take some photos for his business! Check out his website if you're located anywhere near Sacramento!

Tamara + Andrew

Tamara and Andrew have the cutest little family ever! Their kids were so full of energy, and were also super polite! After the family portion of the session, Andrew had a surprise for me; he brought his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and we were able to take some amazing couple's portraits! Beautiful bike to go with a beautiful family.

Kimberly + Edward

Spring has sprung and love is in the air! I loved taking Kimberly and Edward's photos! We went to a local park by my house and it was what I consider an "easy" session because they really love each other! They couldn't stop smiling, and holding hands, so that made my job as their photographer an absolute delight. I love what I do!

Easton Oliver Pierce

In November we welcomed our second baby and I'm finally able to find some time between two kids to share a few photos! He was born November 25th, at 4:50 in the morning. He was 7 pounds, 11 ounces and 21.75 inches long. He is such a sweet little boy, we love him!

Mesa Verde Homecoming 2017

There are some people who start as friends in your life and become family. This young man just happens to fall under that amazing umbrella and I'm lucky enough to be part of his life. I've watched him evolve from a little boy into an amazing young man. I had a lot of fun documenting his freshman Homecoming!

Young Love

This past Saturday I was lucky enough to take Senior Prom photos for a couple who are very much the definition of "young love".  Hearing about high school sweethearts is one thing, but when you see these two together you get a feeling that the love you see in the old Hollywood movies can actually be real.

We had so much fun laughing and enjoying our time spent together. They were excited to go to Cameron's Senior Prom because they were unable to go last year due to Cameron needing surgery. You can't very well dance on crutches! I think they made up for it this year, I love how their photos turned out! Here are some of my personal favorites!

The Feller's

Wednesday I had the honor of taking part in Brandon & Mary's big day.  The two were married at the Sacramento Temple and the weather allowed us to take some beautiful pictures on the Temple Grounds.  On my way to the Temple the rain was relentless, but as soon as I arrived the clouds parted and we were able to spend some time capturing their first hour as husband and wife.

Brandon & Mary just finished their schooling at college and had finals just a week before they were to come out to Sacramento to tie the knot.  I know it had to be stressful making school and wedding arrangements, but they managed to get everything done wth the help of family.

Following the ceremony, everyone headed on over to Zinfandel Grill where food and dessert was served. It was a lovely wedding.

As you can tell from some of the pictures they are definitely IN LOVE. I am beyond happy to share their pictures with you all, and I hope you love them as much as I do!

The Myers Family

Sometimes life comes full circle.

I was lucky enough to be able to photograph a family that has been in my life since I was 6 years old; I used to go over to their house before and after school and during the summer when I was in elementary school.  They were just as awesome as I remembered and I loved photographing them. We had so much fun!

BOMBSHELL BOUDOIR

Saturday was a dream. I had what seemed like a once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph a beautiful pin-up style model in what feels like my best work to-date.  I was privileged to do a myriad of different poses and even got to document my first milk bath! We had a castle-esque room to help enhance the photos, and I hope you enjoy!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

I met my husband June 28, 2013. It was unexpected and at the time I wasn't looking for anything special, but as fate would have it, my life was embarking on a new adventure. We married a little over a year later in his mom's backyard, surrounded by our closest friends and family. We exchanged our own personal vows. Mine included 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I believe in happily ever after, and I believe in capturing all the feelings that come with it. Love is simply amazing.
